One Day Beginner Request Details

A one-day hands-on musculoskeletal ultrasound course covering practical scanning of major joints, tendons, soft tissues, and common MSK ultrasound applications.

Course Overview

This one-day Musculoskeletal Ultrasound course introduces clinicians to practical ultrasound assessment of major joints, tendons, soft tissues, and common musculoskeletal presentations.

Participants learn structured scanning techniques for the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot, with emphasis on image acquisition, anatomy recognition, pathology orientation, and clinical integration.

The course combines focused teaching, live demonstrations, and supervised hands-on scanning to help clinicians build confidence in using ultrasound for musculoskeletal assessment in clinical practice.

Who Should Attend?

Emergency medicine physicians, orthopedic physicians, rheumatology physicians, sports medicine physicians, rehabilitation physicians, general practitioners, residents, and clinicians interested in practical musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment.

Course Topics

Course Topics:

1. Introduction to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
Basic MSK ultrasound principles, probe selection, image optimization, anatomy orientation, and scanning technique.

2. Shoulder Ultrasound
Assessment of rotator cuff tendons, biceps tendon, subacromial-subdeltoid bursa, and common shoulder pathology orientation.

3. Elbow Ultrasound
Scanning approach for the anterior, medial, lateral, and posterior elbow, including tendons, ligaments, and joint structures.

4. Wrist & Hand Ultrasound
Assessment of wrist tendons, carpal tunnel region, finger tendons, joints, and common soft tissue findings.
